Is Swine Flu *Oinking* Up Your Wedding Plans?

Since Heidi Klum and Seal’s wedding in May of 2005, they have gone back to the same location every year to renew their vows.  (A bit excessive, perhaps… but that’s a whole other post.)  Anyhoot… where is this mysterious location, one might ask??  It’s Costa Careyes, Mexico.  Uh oh.

Looks like swine flu wins… again.  As this will be the first year that Heidi and Seal won’t be making their way to the beautiful, sandy beaches of Mexico to say, “I do… (for the 5th time.)”

While I don’t have any true affiliation with Heidi and Seal or any of their nuptial excess, I do know that swine flu seems to be causing more than its fair share of wedding destination disasters.  My heart goes out (and even breaks a little) to any and all of you dealing with such troubles.  There’s enough to worry about going wrong on your big day without the onslaught of some viral outbreak.  I mean, honestly?  It’s like a heinous set up for the WORST romantic comedy ever.

I wish you all the best, and please know that I am now an eternal cheerleader for the Big Bad Wolf… I’m glad he blew down all the piggy houses.  Serves them right.  Chaos causing porkers.
